AEDA Investment fund is an equity investment fund which was established in November 2023 under the Cameroon Company Act,
AEDA Investment Fund focuses on investments in Africa. The fund supports African SMEs and accompanies foreign companies in their investment in Africa.
It was created by and it is operated by the African Economic Development Agency pursuing a need to grow small businesses in the private sector which could contribute significantly to Africa's socio-economic development.
The investments within the AEDA Investment fund are concentrated in industries and fields that help promote Africa's economic development, and impacts positively the livelihood of African communities such as agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, health care, technology, education, Finances.
INVESTMENT
The AEDA Investment Fund aims to help solve the challenges that Africa faces in its course of development and to create positive economic and social outcomes. Through its investments, the AEDA Investment Fund focuses on strengthening Africa's private sector development and enhance its competitiveness in the global economic landscape.
It provides capital financing for African companies in high growth sectors with value-added goods and services and creates durable partnerships between foreign companies and partners with African projects.
HOW WE INVEST
The AEDA Fund invests in African privately-held companies that have economic and trade activities in Africa. The guiding principles of the fund include the promotion of investment in Africa, abidance by market regulations and representation of mutual benefits.
The fund invests through equity investments, quasi-equity investments and fund investments.
